Complex Number

IMAGINARY NUMBER :- The root of a negative real number is called Imaginary number.

Ex:- √-1 , √-3, √-5

INTEGRAL POWER OF IOTA(i):-

COMPLEX NUMBER :- if a and b are two real numbers then a number of the form a + ib is called a complex number . We denote the complex number by z.
Ex :- z = 5 + 7i , here 5 is a real number and 7 is imaginary number.

Note:- if z = a + ib is a complex number, if a = 0 then it is purely imaginary and if b = 0 then it is purely real . We denote purely real by Re(z) and purely imaginary by Im(z).
